Northeast Interstate Moving
Not only is it illegal for a company that is not authorized for interstate moving to operate out of state, if they are caught their truck may be impounded with your shipment on it, causing an unexpected nightmare in moving!
Pony Express is fully Authorized, Insured, and Bonded for Interstate moving. We do not “farm out” interstate moves to third parties, so you can rest assured that your shipment will be handled with the same Pony Express Professional Quality and care–from the first item out of the origin to the last item placed in the destination.
Our drivers are familiar with the laws governing Interstate Commerce and have passed the USDOT physical and safety exam. In addition they are trained in road safety here at Pony Express Headquarters.
Our Service Area:
Generally we serve the Northeastern Corridor and New England, but we also serve the whole of the East Coast, including Florida, and west to Chicago. Ask us about your destination city/state. Interstate moves are always based on a Flat Rate, which is inclusive of all costs. There are no extra or hidden charges ever, what you are quoted is what you pay.
“Dedicated Truck” vs. “Combined Shipment:”
Most times we will send a “dedicated” truck for your move, but if your move is small and can be combined with another shipment, your items will be carefully inventoried with a list to be checked off upon the arrival of your goods at the destination. In this manner, you will be sure that all of your items have arrived safely.
The other advantage of a dedicated truck is that you are assured on-time delivery! If we are able to do a combined shipment, this also saves you money. Combined shipments are generally best if you have some flexibility in your delivery date. We will do our best to find the most cost-effective option for you.
